SPECIAL CALL - EXHIBITION

The Power of the Genus
2021
Digital photo
Since early childhood, I have loved everything mystical and mysterious. I like that I can see and feel not only what is on the surface, but also some kind of invisible life.
As a photographer, the focus of my attention is on people, their fears, pains, vices, desires. As I call it, inner demons are something that exists in every person, but not everyone is ready to understand it, accept it, and even more so show it to others. I also pay attention to what excites me as an author, what topics excite, what I want to share with the world.
I am interested in revealing people from the other side, to show them that it is not at all scary to be imperfect, alive and real! Photography is my way of speaking. I don't get hung up on one style, as they say among artists. Why is this so important to me?
For a very long time I thought that I would not be understood and accepted. I shot what is popular on social networks, what is trending, and not what I like and care about. Currently, I have come to the conclusion that thinking differently is not bad, but even good. There are no limits in creativity. I feel like a freelance artist and rely only on my inner world. This is the philosophy of my work.
